Make the desert your extreme
playground
Drive an all-terrain vehicle to get a close-
up look at desert wildlife and incredible
natural wonders. You can also take a jeep
tour of the desert that includes rappelling,
while accompanied by a skilled guide who
will teach you a bit about the archeology of
the region and history of the desert. ‫‏‬
The powerful natural wonders are what
have made Timna Park an unforgettable
experience, with Solomon’s Pillars and the
rocks naturally colored in shades of copper,
iron and manganese. Built against this
primal landscape is the kind of action that
hasn't been since Pharaohs ruled Egypt:
throw spears from chariots, climb rocks with

Another option, this time outdoors, is Rope
Park Eilat at Camel Ranch, in the heart of
the desert. About 700 meters of action with
three levels of difficulty: swings, zip lines,
climbing nets, rope bridges, and even a
high-riding bicycle. And those who want to
add some more excitement to their fun can
bungee off of a 15-meter tower. All you need
is a moment of courage and a step in the air,
followed by an insane sense of release. ‫‏‬
Move your extreme experiences
from turf to surf
The Gulf of Eilat offers many opportunities for
fun in the sun that go far beyond the banal.
Try parasailing. Hook up to a harness
that is connected to a parachute and a
speedboat and start sailing around the Gulf
of Eilat like skiing. At some point, the power
of the wind will lift you up and your journey

A wet experience filled with great fun and a
little fear. At the Surf Center, you can take a
windsurfing class or try SUP surfing. ‫‏‬
Dive in to see the fish and coral up close!
Eilat is home to the world’s northernmost
shallow water coral reef and it is also one
of the most beautiful and best preserved.
Get your snorkel and mask to see the fish
with your own eyes or you can take an
introductory dive with an oxygen tank and
diving gear together with an instructor.
Dive and swim with dolphins at Eilat’s
Dolphin Reef, one of very few places in
the world where this is possible. A type of
extreme sport that combines diving with gear
with these insightful and magical animals.
Don't want to get wet? You can get a feel for
the sea on Rahefet Typhoon, a hovercraft
that glides several centimeters above the
water, reaching especially high speeds. Enjoy
the rush while viewing the Eilat coast and
spotting dolphins.
