Not far from Latrun is Mini Israel, an
attraction that’s a treat for locals and foreign
visitors alike. The park features hundreds of
meticulously executed scale models of Israel’s
most famous historical and sacred buildings,
as well as scenic sites.
Emmaus
Emmaus is the site of an ancient church
and village built where tradition said Jesus
dined with his disciples after the resurrection
(Luke 24:13-33). It has been settled almost
continuously for thousands of years, because
of both its location on the main road to
Jerusalem and the fact that its now-vanished
warm springs were once famous far and wide.
