The Holy Father,
Pope Francis,

Western Wall. While
visiting the site,
which is a remnant
of the ancient wall
that surrounded the
Jewish Temple's
courtyard and the
most sacred site
recognized by the
Jewish faith, the
Pope placed a
written supplication
between the stones,
in keeping with a
tradition that dates
back centuries.
