The stories of Israel's untold heroes
Theodor Herzl, the father of the modern
Jewish state, uttered these famous
words “If you will it, it is no dream,” envisioned a facility that would allow people
when others challenged his dream
to re-establish a Jewish state in the
biblical Holy Land. It was the will of Herzl
that motivated many to make his dream a
reality in 1948.
Israel’s newest and most technologically-
advanced museum, the Friends of Zion
Museum in Jerusalem, is also the realization
of a dream come true. It was born from
the will and vision of Dr. Mike Evans, who
brought together and rallied thousands
of Israel-loving faithful from all Christian

denominations, who worked to establish
this one-of-a-kind museum. Dr. Evans
of all ages, nations and faiths to experience
the incredible story of how Christian faith and who created this miracle including Friends
courage contributed to the re-establishment
of the State of Israel. His vision would fill
a “missing link” in the story of the rise of
modern Israel.
How important were these Christian initiatives
to the rebirth of Jewish independence? Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said,
“I don’t believe that the Jewish state and
modern Zionism would have been possible
without Christian Zionists.”
The Museum pays tribute to the many non-
Jewish heroes who helped shape the dream
into a reality. Former Israeli President Shimon
Peres said, "We are so grateful to those
of Zion, Jewish and non-Jewish. Nothing is
greater than the cause of friendship among
human beings."
The Friends of Zion Museum is an experiential
tourism site that captivates the senses. It
is not simply an educational experience,
but an emotional one - presenting stories
of Christian love and heroism to the world.
